Tammy is a Fall 2020 Studio Engineering graduate who pours herself into her music. Inspired by the world around her and the deep roots planted by her Cuban family, she is a soulful artist and musician. Currently, she’s also an assistant engineer at Pentavarit Studios.
In May 2021, Tammy joined The Blackbird Academy students as a guest artist to record a track with industry mentor Jonell Polansky from DaCapo Music. The pair worked on Tammy’s song “A World Not Known” and shared their expertise with our current students. Tammy says that she wrote the piece “in support of and dedicated to those protesting police brutality and racism against African Americans, we are unfortunately still witnessing today.”
