If you’re 13 to 19-years-old and have a passion for making music, this is the opportunity to live your dream. Join us this summer at The Blackbird Academy High School Recording Summer Camps and immerse yourself in the world of studio engineering. Learn in the world-renowned Blackbird Studio in Nashville, Tenn., where some of the biggest names in music have been recorded and produced – including Taylor Swift, Rush, Queen, Jack White, The Black Keys, and many, many more!
ABOUT THE CAMPS
Students work alongside our amazing pro instructors, as well as special guest musicians, engineers, producers, singers, and songwriters to learn about:

• Studio/Live Etiquette
• Recording and Mixing a Band
• Introduction to ProTools and Gear
• Setting Up the Session
• Talkback and Headphone Mixes
• EQ and Effects
• Processing Gear
• Percussion, Vocal and Background Vocal Overdubs
• and much more!
Students will receive a download link for sharing photos and videos of their time at The Blackbird Academy.

High school-age musicians, music lovers, band members, home recorders, songwriters, singers, and students with a passion for building their music production skills are welcome.
