Meet Kiyohito Kumada! Kiyo was a member of The Blackbird Academy’s January 2019 Studio Engineering class and has taken his talents to Joint 1 recording based in Japan.
We always love to hear what Kiyo is up to! In his time outside of the studio, he’s designed some merch for his clients and even built a homemade wash tub bass. Kiyo’s clients have released music under Sony Music Entertainment Japan, and he additionally enjoys working with indie artists! Kiyo makes us proud, and we wish him well in his bright future within the industry.
The Blackbird Academy has accepted international students since 2015, and future engineers can apply here!
