Jason Maxwell, ‘Songs About You’
First up this week is a new release from artist Jason Maxwell recorded in June 2018 at The Blackbird Academy and Blackbird Studio. Producer Shawn Moore and musician Brandon Fehderau, who worked on the record, are both graduates of the Studio Engineering program.
The title of the EP is “Songs About You” and contains three tracks recorded by the students and engineered by Kevin Becka, Jeremy Cottrell, and Shawn Moore.

Madison Nolan,‘My Heart Don’t Know it Yet’
“My Heart Don’t Know it Yet” is the first single from artist Madison Nolan and was recorded by The Blackbird Academy students in October 2019.
“She’s already got 10,000 plays on Spotify, which is pretty incredible,” says Engineer and BBA instructor Kevin Boettger.
