Blackbird Studio C is simply the finest Dolby Atmos mix and playback environment in the world.

The open floor plan concept was designed by Grammy Award-winner George Massenburg and Dr. Peter D’Antonio, with the sound diffusion stemming from a 10,000-page Excel sheet analyzing acoustic diffusion algorithms. The result is a mix of art and function: 138,646 individual sticks of formaldehyde-free MDF wood – with no two being the same size or length – form four by eight-foot sheets. Studio C has more than 100,000 lbs. of wood on its walls.

The control room is centered around an AVID S6 console fully set up for Dolby Atmos 9.1.6 mixing and playback and is powered by Pro Tools ultimate 2019.6.
