With seven recording spaces and three amp lockers, there is something in Studio D for any audiophile. Red hanging lanterns illuminate the main room, which features dark walnut floors, staggered stone diffusion walls, and interchangeable FlutterFree panels. Keith Urban, The White Stripes, Kings of Leon, Little Big Town, Rush, and Jimmy Buffett have all recorded in Studio D.
Studio D also includes a huge Hidley-designed live chamber and a breathtaking 96-channel API Legacy console (the largest ever built). A collection of keyboards, including an electric harpsichord and a Yamaha C7 grand piano, rounds out the space, setting the stage for instrumental excellence. Educational amenities like these are truly the Blackbird difference!
